WHAT'S YOURS?
We all have a story
This is my story
I wouldn't be who I am today were it not for my dad
My father passed away suddenly when I was 13 years old.
And it was hard. Really hard.

In some ways, I went from child to grown-up overnight. I couldn't be a typical thirteen year old and live in a world that revolved around myself because I had to be there for everyone else, for my family.
My dad taught me so much about life, about fitness, about how to be bedrock for the people counting on you. When he passed, that's what I became. Bedrock. A foundation of strength upon which others can rest.

At my core, I am a helper and a facilitator. It's who I am and what gives me joy. I want the people around me to be the best they can be, and I will do whatever I can to get them there. I believe this is part of the reason I was drawn to a team sport like basketball - the group collective spirit. A win for one is a win for all.

As a coach and fitness instructor, I'm in my element when helping the people I'm working with succeed. Whether it's a first workout or a championship game, it doesn't matter. I'm energized by the forward motion, however small or large, and I will keep giving and teaching and motivating people as they take those steps.
